He started out in the United States, in auto recycling — the trade that supplies used parts to body shops and service centres. He ran the technology side when the company opened a direct-to-customer arm, and worked with the management on the whole business rather than only the software. Insurance became familiar there: how an insurer pays for a repair made with used parts, and how a workshop's money waits on a claim being settled.
He came back to India and started Naya Labs. Its first large piece of work was the e-challan and notification system for Cyberabad Police, running across Telangana — data at state scale.
That work led to the Insurance Information Bureau. He built a tool to audit the transaction-level data every insurer is required to file. Doing it meant working through filings from 2000 to 2024 across the thirty to forty insurers reporting at the time — which is how he came to know how each company's systems actually work, where the gaps are, and how much of the industry turns on distribution and service.
Today he works on the domain — the rules the whole system is built from — and the API underneath it.

Insurance from both sides: two insurers, then his own dealerships. Read more Read less
Started on the insurer side — IFFCO Tokio, then ICICI Lombard. He went on to run motor dealerships for Hyundai, TVS and Tata trucks, where insurance was not a side business but part of keeping the doors open: the vehicles, the premises, group medical and group term cover for the staff, workmen's compensation — and goods and marine cover for the customers buying trucks.
Which is to say he has sat on both sides of most lines an Indian advisor actually deals with: selling them for an insurer, and buying and managing them for his own business.

A computer science graduate with a master's from the United States, where he also worked. He has built the whole of the advisor app's interface — everything an advisor actually touches. He also leads the customer wallet, the side a policyholder sees, where the design calls are his to make rather than ours.

Eighteen years looking after customers and accounts — Blue Dart, then a retail business, and most recently Sutherland, where she was the subject matter expert on an insurance client's account.
She speaks English, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada fluently and manages in Tamil — which matters more than it sounds when the advisors you are supporting are spread across the country.

When an advisor has a problem, Harish is the person who picks it up. Support here is a person by rule, not an autoresponder — he is the rule working.

AI agents. They write the code, design the screens, run the security audits and check each other's work.
The people above direct and correct them. The decisions stay ours.
