Company Health Cover Falls Short? Can Your Personal Policy Pay the Rest?

Suppose your hospital bill is seven lakh rupees. Your company health policy has five lakh available and pays it. Your personal policy could pay the remaining two lakh, if its terms allow. You can choose which policy to claim under first. If its cover falls short, that insurance company must coordinate with the other one for the eligible balance. The same expense cannot be paid twice. Ask your advisor to check both policies and help coordinate the claim.

What this is not

ZaapIn is a technology company. We do not sell or solicit insurance. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or recommended by IRDAI, any examination body, or any insurer.

The videos explain insurance. They do not name a product, quote a price, or tell anyone what to buy. That is the advisor's work, and the whole point is to send customers to their advisor for it.
